Cadence — Privacy Policy

Cadence ("Cadence", "we", "us", or "our") is a task and project management application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Cadence you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo.
• Content you create. The tasks, projects, categories, checklists, to-do items, notes, and sprint data you enter into the app.
• Subscription & payment information. If you purchase Cadence Pro, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, not your full payment-card details. If you submit a manual payment, we collect the payment reference you provide and any payment-slip image you upload for verification.
• Technical & diagnostic data. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and may collect limited device and diagnostic information to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use your information

• To provide and operate the app, including syncing your tasks and projects across sessions and devices.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process subscriptions and verify payments.
• To send reminders that you have configured (reminder notifications are scheduled on your device).
• To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

How your information is stored and shared

Your data is stored using Supabase (database and file storage) and our backend server. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Cadence:

• Google — Firebase Authentication and Google Play Billing.
• Supabase — database hosting and file storage.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

Cadence is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
